Sara has lived in Munich, except for a brief period, since 1995.
Her career background lies in Human Resources, including expatriate management. She has worked for both small and large companies, including BAE, Panasonic and General Motors. After marriage in 2008, she went freelance, and worked in consultancy until joining Going-there, where her expatriate experience is of great value.
Thanks to her long residence in Germany, she is fluent in German. She also knows Munich intimately, having made it her home for over 10 years. ‘Munich is Germany’s most popular and expensive city,’ she tells us, ‘you need to know your way around the housing market especially if you want to get the best value for money.’
Sara has developed a good contacts network in the city and, has gained near native understanding of local culture and how things are done.
