Milan Destination Consultant

Dutch
Vivian is multi-lingual and she has been living for nearly a decade in Italy.
Professionally, she has held a wide variety of jobs since graduating in Information Marketing Management at Faculty Information and Communication in Amsterdam. She has been working for some Italian companies in the Netherlands and after moving to Milan she has gone from office management up to language tutor, culminating last year in the cultural and press department of the Dutch Consulate.
‘Even though Milan is considered Italy’s most international and trendiest city, famous for design and fashion, it can still be difficult to find your way here, especially if you don’t speak Italian and don’t know the culture’ she tells us. ‘Support is essential, Italian bureaucracy is notorious’!
Milan offers a lot to newcomers, from culture to cappuccino and from food to fashion. The mountains and lakes are just around the corner, an ideal city to relocate to, however some help in leasing, paperwork, healthcare and finding the right school, might be crucial.
She looks forward to welcoming you to Milan.
