Maureen was born and raised in the UK and has since become a true global citizen, living in five different countries. Since 1994 she has moved, with her husband Mark, from England to Sydney Australia, then to Boston USA, followed by Dublin in Ireland, then back to Sydney. She also has spent time with Mark on assignments in Singapore and Shanghai and then in 2004 they settled in Hong Kong.
Consequently, Maureen has extensive firsthand experience of international relocations.
Professionally, Maureen has a background in HR and finance. She is an AAT qualified accounting technician, and has put her skills to use in various international environments, working on payroll and accounts for financial and law firms, as well as in industry. She is also active in the volunteer sector, serving as Chair of the Social Committee at The Australian Association of Hong Kong - which runs a variety of events each month, including the popular “Explore Hong Kong” series of day trips.
