Geneva Destination Consultant

British-born Mary arrived in Geneva in 2005, and rapidly decided to make the move permanent. She is now well established on the French side of the border, has two young children at school, and has easy access to slopes for her beloved skiing.
She was originally a marketing graduate from Leeds, in the north of England. She went through various advertising posts in the rail industry, working mainly on regional campaigns. She was also active in community groups, particularly as a fundraiser for the Red Cross. In 2000, she moved to Germany, since when she worked mainly with children’s groups.
“Geneva can be quite challenging when it comes to all of its formalities related to finding a home. There are many rules and regulations to be followed and having help from a local expert is key”, Mary tells us. “It is a wonderful place to live, a small city with a big city feel”.
Mary knows all the ins-and-outs of finding homes, schools and healthcare in Switzerland. And if you’re a relocating partner, she knows the system inside-out for getting yourself networked and busy with work. ‘Geneva is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, small, with a glorious lakeside. I look forward to helping you make a painless transition.’
